CASA Program Start-up
CASA programs currently serve 26 of the 28 judicial districts in Arkansas. We are working with a steering committee in the 1st Judicial District and anticipate their startup to be by summer 08. Our vision is to provide every abused and/or neglected child with a CASA volunteer in the state of Arkansas. Therefore, we are currently working on starting new programs in the areas that do not currently have a program. At present, there is not a CASA program in the seventh Judicial District If you are interested in starting a CASA program in your area, please contact the state office at 866-284-8111. The state office works with community leaders to start the CASA program in the district. For those groups going through the start-up process, we have compiled some documents for your reference as you go through the process.
